Controls · Siemens / Rockwell

PLC Engineer

North workshop · Full time · Band 3–4

You will take functional design specs through to a commissioned line: writing the logic, building the HMI screens, and being on site when it first runs. Most of your work will be food and beverage batching and cement conveying, on S7-1500 and ControlLogix.

Visualisation · WinCC / Ignition

SCADA Developer

Head office · Full time · Band 3–4

Build the plant-wide layer: mimics, alarm rationalisation, historian and the reports the morning meeting actually reads. You will work alongside the PLC engineers rather than downstream of them, and own the data model.

Build · Enclosures and MCCs

Panel Wireman

West workshop · Full time · Band 2–3

Build control and MCC panels to drawing, FAT-test them on the bench, and go out with the install team for the ones you built. Clean, labelled, documented work — our panels get opened by other people years later.

Apply for this role
Entry · Four intakes a year

Apprentice — Controls

Field-based · Apprenticeship · Structured

Two years across the workshop bench, the drawing office and site commissioning, paired with a senior engineer. You will finish knowing how a panel is built, how the logic runs it, and how to explain both to an operator.
